Sand Blooms, 2004

Sand Blooms is a medium format photograph of a very temporary beach installation created on a beach off the coastline of Anglesey, north Wales.  Its star-like/flower imagery suggestive of growth, took four hours to create, made from mussel shells, and was washed away by the tide in a matter of minutes.
