Untitled, 2005

Installation at Bluecoat Art's Centre Liverpool.  In response to pending garden redesign.  Taken from Holbein's 'The Ambassadors', this reworking of the anamorphic skull in mild steel reveals the anomalies of perception and perspective from given points of view.  It also draws attention to the corporeality of the spectator and the cyclical and changing nature of the environment within which it is seen.  Positioned so as to be readable from the doorway of the building and then fall away as you walk down the ramp.
