Ebro, - 1999

Using the longest of Spain's five major rivers, the Ebro, this triptych explores the heat and haze of the Spanish sun and the vast spaces of the seemingly never ending meseta. Rayon and metal threads are stitched in a painterly manner, whilst colour, texture, and the light changes effected by using some metallic threads predominate. This work is now owned by Welburn and Company Solicitors, Winchester.
