Sculptural piece made in response to the painting, Near Rothwell by Tom Whiteread. Borrowed for six weeks from Leeds Art Gallery's picture lending library. The project asked artists to make work in response to their chosen painting the work would then be part of this years Grassington Festival in Yorkshire. 'The Man on the Hill' remains in Grassington until the end of September 2012 after public discussion to keep it after the initial three week festival finished in July.
