This large-scale earthwork drawing was a project supported by the Arts Council England and was made during Herefordshire Arts week 2009 over a nine day period. The sandstone was collected from the grounds of Monnow Valley Arts and dipped in limewash (the lime was supplied by Ty Mawr at Brecon) and then placed by hand in response to the stones, and the land it was sited upon. The final drawing measured 150ft x 110ft . The final drawing was not pre-designed, but emerged in response to the feel of the land day by day.
