Lewis Carroll Birthplace, 2011

To accompany the main site responsive / site specific permanent installation for National Trust on the Lewis Carroll Birthplace site there are a series of interpretation panels. The forged steel stands echo the 'corn' theme, taking inspiration from poetry by Carroll recalling his place of birth.

'An island farm - broad seas of corn,
Stirred by the wandering breath of morn,
The happy spot where I was born'

There are also a number of Carroll inspired 'white rabbits' showing the way to the main installation
