In The Exquisite Medium the participant is generating an amusing and rather bizarre series of events by activating a mysterious virtual character who will recite randomly generated surrealist sentences and translate them into a symbolic and visual language by illuminating the corresponding objects around him with a pair of light torches. The installation is an audiovisual variation of The Exquisite Corpse, game created by the surrealists in which a collection of words or images are collectively assembled and generate surprising surrealist sentences or drawings.
