Super Nova , 2008

Super Nova is a peice made for the exhibition 'Indelible' at Fabrica, Brighton. One of a series of experimental pieces, sketches in cloth, they explored narratives left behind in clothes and were a response to a collaboration with Alison Fendly Senior Forensic Biologist at the Forensic Science Service.

My mother's deconstructed 1950's jacket is destroyed and laser etched with images of the Mother and Child.
