Jane Ponsford

This piece is from a series made in response to specific places and landscapes and to found objects within those spaces. It was made while I was working on a residency on the Medway estuary in Kent.

The paper is coloured with dirt and pigment from the rusty wire. I love working with paper pulp because it has such a receptive surface. The cast shapes are made to catch the light and to cast shadows.
