“Axisweb has proved to be an important resource for opportunities and has for me, resulted in commissions, exhibitions and participation in residency projects.”

I have been a member of Axisweb for many years. It has been an invaluable form of professional presentation of my art practice particularly because it enables me to group together artworks in project form. This illustrates to the viewer how an artist's practice can be read as an interconnected process of inquiry and also how one project, for example from my own experience, can result in an exhibition, a commission, a book form and directly involve the participation of a wider community. This presentation also emphasises how an artist's work can fulfil an important and meaningful role in a range of contexts beyond the studio, which is an important part of my own practice and philosophy.

Axisweb has proved to be an important resource for opportunities and has for me, resulted in commissions, exhibitions and participation in residency projects.

My page on Axisweb means I can present to potential clients and viewers an initial comprehensive overview of my work, my resume and the conceptual basis for my practice.

This has lead to many new connections, audiences for my work and in turn to the ongoing development and refinement of my art practice.

The recent development of the Axisweb platform to include additional ways in which artwork and ideas can be presented is an interesting development and I am confident will have a positive influence on my own work.
